Job summary

IU Health's Riley Children’s Hospital is seeking a Telemetry Monitor Technician Supervisor to lead the non-invasive cardiology team. The role offers a flexible schedule (days/nights) to be determined with the department and includes weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

A BLS certification is required, and a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Candidates should have 3–5 years of cardiac telemetry experience and be capable of working independently while promoting teamwork.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description:

Supervises and directs the duties, responsibilities, schedules and daily operations of the non-invasive cardiology team.The non-invasive supervisor will partner with the department manager to recruit, hire and develop training for the non-invasive cardiology team. The supervisor will resolve problems in a collaborative fashion with all team members and department leadership. The supervisor will ensure the provision of 24/7 patient care services by developing effective working relationships with leaders from nursing, clinical engineering and IT services. The supervisor will collaborate with department leaders and contribute to the decision-making process. The supervisor will be available by phone after hours and weekends as needed to support the department.
