Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in cardiac telemetry, EKG or related cardiology field required.
• Ability to be self-directed and work independently.
• Requires a high level of interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Requires the ability to promote teamwork and develop team members.
• Requires basic computer operations experience and familiarity with Word; Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs the duties, responsibilities, schedules and daily operations of the non-invasive cardiology team.
• Partner with the department manager to recruit, hire and develop training for the non-invasive cardiology team.
• Resolve problems in a collaborative fashion with all team members and department leadership.
• Ensure the provision of 24/7 patient care services by developing effective working relationships with leaders from nursing, clinical engineering and IT services.
• Collaborate with department leaders and contribute to the decision-making process.
• Be available by phone after hours and weekends as needed to support the department.
