Responsibilities

• Authorize refunds and overrides; count registers and deposit cash.
• Ensure cash accountability and strict cash-control procedures.
• Manage store in Manager on Duty/Assistant Manager absence.
• Assist Store Manager and Assistant Manager in training employees.
• Oversee non-food department operations and merchandising.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing coverage.
• Maintain safety, sanitation and compliance with company policies.
• Direct unloading and stocking of new merchandise; maintain inventory.
