Qualifications

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
• Ability to perform cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies and practices.
• Effective interpersonal and oral & written communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of and willingness to comply with company policies and procedures as outlined in the SOP manual, Employee Handbook, and company communications.
• Ability and willingness to obtain required certifications in food handling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Non-Food Department and the store on duty, ensuring inventory accuracy and merchandising presentation.
• Authorize refunds and overrides; manage cash deposits and bank deposits.
• Maintain cash accountability, key control, and security practices.
• Provide training to employees and assist in scheduling coverage.
• Lead in training on stocking, presentation, and recovery standards to meet store policies.
• Ensure proper handling of new merchandise and staging areas for deliveries.
• Assist with pricing integrity, signage, and promotional sign execution.
• Support store operations to minimize damages and maintain inventory accuracy.
