A highly respected Houston plaintiff personal injury firm is seeking a Non-Commercial Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to handle a diverse litigation docket involving passenger vehicle accidents, premises liability, dog bites, and other negligence-based personal injury matters. This role does not involve commercial trucking or 18-wheeler litigation.

The ideal candidate enjoys litigation, courtroom advocacy, and taking ownership of cases from filing through trial.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
• 3+ years of plaintiff personal injury pre-litigation experience.
• Strong settlement negotiation skills.
• Experience communicating with insurance carriers and adjusters.
• Filevine experience preferred.
• Excellent client communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a plaintiff personal injury litigation caseload from filing through resolution.
• Handle passenger vehicle accidents, premises liability, dog bite, and other non-commercial injury claims.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses.
• Attend mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
• Negotiate settlements when appropriate.
• Prepare cases for trial.
• Work closely with clients throughout the litigation process.

Position: Non-Commercial Personal Injury Litigation Attorney Location: Houston, TX | 100% In-Office Salary: up to $200K + benefits and generous bonuses
