Job summary

White Oak of Shelby in Shelby, NC is seeking a Transportation Specialist to safely move residents to and from appointments, labs, consults, and other medical visits.

This full-time role may also transport incoming residents and supports a 160-bed skilled nursing and rehab facility near downtown Shelby.

Active CNA listed on the registry is a plus; benefits begin after 30 days, including medical, dental, vision, hearing, 401K, disability and life coverage.

Qualifications

• Active CNA listed on registry is a plus.
• Experience transporting residents in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Must be able to operate transportation equipment and assist patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from appointments, labs, consultations, ER, etc.
• May transport incoming residents to the facility.
• Provide safe, reliable non-emergency transportation for nursing home residents.
