Job summary

SCA Health is actively seeking a Non-Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team. The role involves scrubbing for operative and invasive procedures, preparing instruments, and assisting with post-procedure room cleanup in a busy surgical setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Surgical Technologist course, and two years of OR experience. ASC experience and ORT certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certification
• Completion of Surgical Technologist course
• Two years previous operating room experience
• ASC experience preferred
• ORT certification preferred
• Training program for surgical technology in armed forces/public health service (US)

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
