Job Summary

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $20.00 / hr
• Pay range reflects minimum base wages; instructors may have opportunities to earn more with additional teaching incentives.
• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
• Shift Type: Part‑time hours available. For full‑time instructors, a 40‑hour workweek is not guaranteed. Scheduled hours will vary depending on business volume.
• Minimum Age: At least 16 years of age
• Housing Availability: No

Job Responsibilities

• Teach group and private lessons.
• Work with guests of all ages, with a focus on children.
• Deliver world‑class guest service.
• Create a safe and fun learning environment.
• Support all needs of the snow sports school, including scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, fitting equipment.
• Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong snowboarders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Must be comfortable and competent snowboarding on groomed blue terrain.
• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Must be willing to work weekends/holidays and meet minimum scheduling requirements.
• Must be comfortable being in snowboard boots for extended periods of time.
• Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards.

Additional requirements for hires under age 18: submission of a parental consent form upon hire, along with other applicable documents required by state law, such as a work permit, physician's note, and/or proof of birthdate.
