Job summary

Avalon Health Care Group in Roosevelt, Utah is seeking a Non-Certified Nurse Assistant to provide direct resident care under licensed supervision. You will monitor vital signs, assist with mobility and feeding, and support a compassionate environment for residents and families.

Prerequisites include Nurse Assistant Training completion and certification within 120 days of hire; full-time and on-call positions are available with an extended orientation and preceptor support.

Qualifications

Completed a Nurse Assistant Training program; Certificate required.
Must obtain Certified Nurse Assistant Certification within 120 days of hire.
Ability to relate positively to residents and families; cooperative with staff.

Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure.

Job description

The Non-Certified Nurse Assistant will perform direct resident care duties, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with mobility and feeding. They will work collaboratively with the caregiving team to ensure a compassionate environment for residents and their families.

$15.00 an hour Full time and On-Call Positions available Extended Orientation Period with Exceptional Preceptor The Non-Certified Nurse Assistants will perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and will assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents. ***Must have completed a Nurse Assistant Training program; Certificate required**

Qualifications

Completed a Nurse Assistant Training; Certificate required Must obtain the Certified Nurse Assistant Certification within 120-days of hire Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and to work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors. Must meet all local health regulations, pass post-employment physical exam, criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.

Establish effective communication/interaction with residents and families.
Use proper feeding techniques while respecting personal dignity and meeting the residents’ needs for socialization.

Requirements
