Job summary

Avalon Health Care Group in Roosevelt, Utah is seeking an Exercise Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist residents in meeting rehabilitation goals through tailored exercise modalities and to lead group exercise activities.

This full-time, on-site role runs 8 AM to 4 PM, with benefits including 401(k), medical/dental/vision, FSA, life and disability coverage, and more. Must be a CNA with at least one year of experience and English literacy.

Qualifications

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the State and maintain certification throughout employment.
Must have one year experience working as a CNA.
Meet State and federal requirements, generally 12 hours, in-service education.
Must have ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English.
Recent education or clinical hours are required.
You need to be at least 18 years old.
Must pass criminal background investigation, reference inquiry.
Experience with fitness instruction is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assisting residents to meet rehabilitation goals through exercise modalities.
Managing and teaching exercise activities to groups of residents.
Interdepartmental communications within care team of both nursing and therapy.
Documentation of resident exercise treatments.
