Zūm Services, Inc. is seeking a Non-CDL Van Driver to transport students to and from school and activities in Rockford, IL. This safety-sensitive role emphasizes safe operation of a vehicle and a positive, secure environment for students.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, monitor student safety during transit, and communicate with families and school staff. The position requires a clean driving record and the ability to pass background checks and drug testing.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 5 years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle.
• Minimum age 21 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test.
• Physical ability to assist students and lift up to 50 lbs.

As a Non-CDL Van Driver at Zūm, you will safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities while ensuring a positive and secure environment. This is a safety-sensitive position because you are responsible for the safe operation of a vehicle transporting students, and any impairment could create a significant risk of harm. Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues
• Ensure student safety during boarding, transit, and exiting the vehicle

• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff

Requirements:

• This role is classified as a safety-sensitive position
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Additional certifications required by state for legal non-cdl van operation
• Minimum 5 years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle required (WAC 392-144-101)
• Minimum age: 21 years
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background check and drug test
• Physical ability to assist students and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
