Job summary

Gourmet Foods International is seeking an experienced delivery driver to bring our products to customers on a consistent, home-daily schedule. You will operate company trucks, adhere to DOT regulations, and ensure loads meet temperature and safety specs. The role requires reliability, safety focus, and excellent service. Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class C license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 75 pounds.
• Able to step up 17 inches and climb up to three ladder rungs.
• Experience with electronic documents is a plus (XRS).

Responsibilities

• Deliver company product to customers per manifest.
• Drive company vehicle and comply with DOT rules.
• Follow GFI procedures and protocols.
• Maintain load temperatures per specifications.
• Optimize routes with dispatch and jurisdiction rules.
• Maintain electronic records; XRS experience is a plus.

• Maintain load temperatures according to load specifications


• Manage route according to dispatch, jurisdictional compliance, and load optimization.


• Ability to maintain electronic documents – XRS experience a plus.

Required Qualifications And Experience

• Minimum age of 21 years


• Valid Class C License


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 75 lbs.


• Ability to step up 17 inches and climb up to three rungs of a ladder.
