Job summary

US FOODS is seeking a dedicated Non-CDL Driver to join our team in Lubbock, TX. You will perform multi-stop foodservice deliveries using a company vehicle up to 14,900 lbs GVW and will unload and verify deliveries with customers.

During training you start at $22.53 per hour; after training, component pay applies, with drivers averaging around $35.90 per hour. Benefits begin on day one, with opportunities for overtime and retention bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid U.S. driver\'s license with proper endorsements if required.
• No commercial driving experience required; 1 year multi-stop delivery or 6 months local delivery/foodservice experience preferred.
• Hand cart delivery experience preferred.
• Must read and communicate in English; basic math skills required.
• DOT physical clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers safely and on time.
• Unload using a two-wheeler or by hand; place deliveries in storage areas.
• Move products with a hand cart and navigate stairs as needed.
• Verify deliveries with customers and collect signatures.
• Document and manage returned products.
• Report delivery or customer issues to supervisor and Customer Service.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Handle collections and payments when applicable.
• Adapt to other duties assigned by management.
