Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a CDL driver to support our waste collection routes in Houston, TX. You will unload waste at disposal locations, operate the truck and equipment, and perform daily safety inspections to ensure compliant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess a valid Class C CDL.
• Minimum of 1 year industry experience preferred.
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria.

Responsibilities

• Unload collected waste at disposal locations or into rear load trucks.
• Operate truck and equipment following prescribed safety procedures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain routine records.
• Report mechanical issues immediately to supervisor or mechanic.
• Maintain route quality and comply with safety policies.
