Job summary

DO & CO group in New York is seeking a dynamic Non-CDL Driver to join our team at our airport facilities. The role focuses on transporting meals, carts, and equipment between DO & CO locations, loading and unloading aircraft, and ensuring on-time catering service.

You will perform fueling, pre- and post-operation inspections, and maintain vehicles while complying with TSA regulations and safety standards. A flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (required).
• Air brake endorsement preferred.
• Must meet TSA badge requirements for NY/NJ airport access.
• Works well independently and in a team.
• Clear, professional communication with airline partners and colleagues.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Comfortable working at heights (20–25 ft).
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Transport meals, carts, equipment, and supplies between DO & CO facilities, third-party vendors, and the airport.
• Load and unload aircraft per procedures and regulations.
• Ensure each flight is catered accurately and on time.
• Provide catering services while handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete required vehicle fueling and pre- and post-operation inspections.
• Maintain vehicles in safe condition and report issues to Dispatch.
• Comply with airport, airline, company, TSA, and safety requirements.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Transport meals, meal carts, equipment, and supplies between DO & CO facilities, third-party vendors, and the airport.
• Load and unload aircraft according to DO & CO and airline procedures, regulations, and equipment-handling requirements.
• Ensure each assigned flight is catered accurately and on time.
• Provide catering services to DO & CO’s airline clients while handling all equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete required vehicle fueling and pre- and post-operation inspections.
• Maintain assigned vehicles in safe working condition and immediately report damage, mechanical concerns, or other irregularities to Dispatch.
• Comply with all airport, airline, company, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Air brake endorsement perffered.
• Must meet all requirements to obtain and maintain a Port Authority of New York and New Jersey airport-issued identification badge in accordance with TSA regulations, including 49 CFR § 1542.209.
• Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Communicates clearly and professionally with team members, airline representatives, and other operational partners.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Capable of safely lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving products, equipment, and supplies weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Comfortable working at heights of up to 20–25 feet.
• Must regularly stand, bend, lift, and move throughout shifts lasting eight hours or longer.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
