Job summary

Ferguson in Madison, WI is hiring a delivery driver to transport materials, load/unload, and manage delivery tickets with a safety- and accuracy-focused mindset.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm (or until route completion). Starting pay ranges from $15.61 to $23.41 per hour, with bonus eligibility and pre-employment screenings. Ferguson offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid state issued license is required.
• 0-3 years of delivery driving experience preferred.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly and 90lbs occasionally.
• Background in warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to operate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, assist with loading and unloading and ensure delivery of ticket with material.
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems to supervisor.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment and receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including PPE usage.

Qualifications:

Pay Range:
