Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a delivery driver to load, transport, and deliver materials to customers from our Laurel, VA location. You will assist with loading, handle returns, and maintain ticket accuracy while following DOT and safety rules.

Requirements include a valid CDL, being 21+, and willingness to work overtime. Benefits include competitive pay, 401(k) with match, and comprehensive health plans. Candidates should be comfortable using iPads and coordinating with warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift items up to 50lbs.
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, assisting with loading/unloading and ensuring delivery ticket is included.
• Pick up customer returns, validate product match for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck, report issues to supervisor.
• Follow and implement all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse with pulling/preparing orders, receiving/stocking materials.
• Work overtime as needed; adhere to safety regulations including PPE.

Schedule:

M-F 6:30am - 4pm or until deliveries are complete, overtime as needed.

• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Pay Range:

$19.26 - $30.76

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
