Ferguson in Hobart, IN is seeking a delivery driver to join our team. You will deliver materials to customers, assist with loading and unloading, and verify tickets at delivery.

The schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm, with potential overtime; drivers must meet DOT requirements, lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 90 lbs occasionally, and use basic tech like iPads and warehouse systems.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid state issued license is required.
• Must currently, have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• 1-3 years of delivery driving experience preferred.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularly and 90lbs occasionally.
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus.
• Comfortable working in fast pace changing environment.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology and software, including iPads and Warehouse Management systems.

Responsabilités

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes assistance with loading and unloading and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of PPE. This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs

Pay Range

$15.61 - $23.41

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
