Job summary

DO & CO is hiring a dynamic Non-CDL Driver to join the New York team. You will load, unload, and transport meals, equipment, and supplies between DO & CO facilities and airports, ensuring on-time catering and adherence to safety standards.

This role requires physical capability and teamwork; you will work outdoors in varying weather, with shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Air brake endorsement preferred.
• Must qualify for Port Authority of NY/NJ airport ID badge per TSA 49 CFR 1542.209.
• Ability to work independently and in teams; strong communication with team and airline partners.
• Outdoor work in all weather; capable of lifting up to 75 pounds and standing long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Transport meals, meal carts, equipment, and supplies between DO & CO facilities, third-party vendors, and the airport.
• Load and unload aircraft according to procedures and regulations.
• Ensure each flight is catered accurately and on time.
• Provide catering services to airline clients while handling equipment safely.
• Complete vehicle fueling and pre/post inspections.
• Maintain vehicles and report any damage or issues to Dispatch.
• Comply with airport, airline, and TSA requirements; follow food safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Transport meals, meal carts, equipment, and supplies between DO & CO facilities, third-party vendors, and the airport.
• Load and unload aircraft according to DO & CO and airline procedures, regulations, and equipment-handling requirements.
• Ensure each assigned flight is catered accurately and on time.
• Provide catering services to DO & CO’s airline clients while handling all equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete required vehicle fueling and pre- and post-operation inspections.
• Maintain assigned vehicles in safe working condition and immediately report damage, mechanical concerns, or other irregularities to Dispatch.
• Comply with all airport, airline, company, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Air brake endorsement perffered.
• Must meet all requirements to obtain and maintain a Port Authority of New York and New Jersey airport-issued identification badge in accordance with TSA regulations, including 49 CFR
• 1542.209.
• Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Communicates clearly and professionally with team members, airline representatives, and other operational partners.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Capable of safely lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving products, equipment, and supplies weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Comfortable working at heights of up to 20-25 feet.
• Must regularly stand, bend, lift, and move throughout shifts lasting eight hours or longer.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
