Job summary

DO & CO group seeks a dynamic Non-CDL Driver to join the New York team. The role involves transporting meals and equipment between DO & CO facilities, loading aircraft per regulations, and ensuring flights are catered correctly.

The driver will maintain vehicle readiness and follow safety and hygiene rules, working both independently and with a team in varying weather conditions. Employees can expect an hourly pay rate of $22.53, along with daily complimentary meals and opportunities for career

Responsibilities

• Transport meals, meal carts, and equipment between DO & CO facilities and third-party vendors and the airport.
• Load/unload aircraft according to DO & CO and airline regulations and equipment handling.
• Ensure flights are catered for correctly.
• Serve DO & CO’s airline clients and handle equipment expeditiously and safely.
• Maintain vehicles in full working condition (fueling, pre/post checks) and report irregularities to dispatch.
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations and applicable rules.

Responsibilities:

• Transport of meals, meal carts, and any equipment needed between the DO & CO Facilities and third-party vendors, and the airport.
• Load/unload aircraft according to DO & CO and airline regulations, specifications, and equipment handling.
• Ensure flights are always catered for correctly.
• Cater to DO & CO’s client’s airlines and handle airlines equipment expeditiously and safely.
• Ensure all vehicles are maintained in full working condition (including fuelingand pre/post checks) and report any vehicle irregularities to dispatch immediately.
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations and all applicable rules/regulations.

Qualifications:

• Ability to meet requirements necessary to obtain a PANYNJ ID (Port Authority NY/NJ) per TSA regulations and, more specifically, 49 CFR §1542.209).
• Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
• Airbrake endorsement required.
• Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise.
• Most duties are performed outside in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to seventy-five (75) pounds.
• Must be able to work at heights up to 20-25 feet.
• Must be able to regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.
• Communicate effectively with team members, make sure communication is clear and understood by co-workers.
