Job summary

DO & CO is seeking a dynamic Flight Coordinator to join our New York team. This role requires a valid driver’s license and eligibility for the PANYNJ ID to support on-site operations for our luxury airline catering and event services.

You will coordinate with production, inventory, and flight crews, ensure on-time handovers, and maintain high quality standards in a refrigerated environment, while delivering exceptional hospitality across all flight services.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in customer service.
  • Must be eligible for PANYNJ ID per TSA regulations.
  • Proficient with basic computer use and systems navigation.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Hands-on, proactive team player with task execution.
  • Able to work in a refrigerated environment for 70% of shifts.
  • English reading/writing fluency; Spanish is a plus.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Verify products and trolleys meet quality and customer specifications.
  • Conduct inventory counts and pack equipment in a refrigerated setting.

  • Confirm that special meals and counts are prepared and allocated for each flight.
  • Collaborate with the Food Packing team and support assembly line in refrigerated environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned while upholding DO & CO standards.

Job description

We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic Flight Coordinator to join our growing New York Team!

Attention: Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet all eligibility requirements to obtain a Port Authority of NY/NJ (PANYNJ) ID to qualify for this position.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain clear and professional communication across all operational channels, promptly distributing incoming information to the appropriate departments.
  • Ensure all production processes meet established quality standards and deadlines to guarantee the accurate, on‑time handover of DO & CO’s high‑end products directly to the aircraft crew.
  • Verify that all products and trolleys consistently meet the highest quality standards and are delivered according to customer specifications.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and pack additional equipment or products as needed, working inside a refrigerated environment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide suggestions to enhance operational efficiency and customer service.
  • Confirm that all special meals and correct meal counts are prepared, packed, and accurately assigned for each flight.
  • Collaborate with the Food Packing team and support the assembly line when necessary, including tray setup, food preparation, and packaging in a refrigerated environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management while upholding DO & CO’s operational and quality standards.
Qualifications:
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in customer service or a similar field.
  • Must meet all requirements necessary to obtain a Port Authority of NY/NJ (PANYNJ) ID badge, in accordance with TSA regulations (49 CFR §1542.209).
  • Proficient in basic computer use and systems navigation.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Hands‑on and proactive approach to teamwork and task execution.
  • Comfortable working at least 70% of the shift in a cooler/refrigerated environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and work effectively while meeting stringent deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork and leadership capabilities.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Must have a flexible schedule to support business operations, including weekends and holidays as needed.
