Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a Driver to load, transport and deliver building materials to customer sites in a safe, timely manner at our West Virginia operations. This role requires adherence to DVIR/HOS and DOT requirements, with non-CDL vehicles weighing 10,001-26,000 pounds.

You will act as a customer service liaison, maintain logs, inspect vehicles, and support safety initiatives. A valid driver's license and clean MVR are required; priority given to prior delivery experience with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old and valid driver's license.
• Pass MVR report and obtain a DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Have fewer than 5 moving violations in last 5 years.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products inside the delivery vehicle.
• Deliver customer orders to sites and unload materials safely.
• Verify order details and maintain delivery logs (weights, mileage, locations).
• Serve as customer service liaison and resolve issues as needed.
• Maintain delivery vehicles and perform safety checks.
• Use handheld devices to document DVIR and HOS compliance.
• Operate forklift or manual handling equipment as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and attend safety meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
