Job summary

Builders FirstSource in West Virginia is seeking a professional Delivery Driver to transport and deliver building materials to customer sites. You will load and secure items, operate loading equipment, and provide courteous service while ensuring on-time, undamaged deliveries.

The role requires a Class A CDL, a clean MVR, and at least 1 year of delivery driving experience. You will work in a safety-focused environment with daily pre/post trip inspections and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 21+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license and Class A CDL.
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience; 2 years preferred.
• Pass MVR and obtain a DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Load or assist with loading and securing product inside the delivery vehicle.
• Deliver orders to customer sites and assist with unloading; ensure product protection and accuracy.
• Maintain logs of deliveries (weights, mileage, locations) and verify against invoices.
• Act as customer service liaison and address concerns.
• Perform safety checks and pre/post trip inspections; use handheld devices for DVIR/HOS.
• Operate forklift or non-motorized material handling equipment as needed.
