Job summary

Builders FirstSource, Inc. is seeking a driver to load, transport, and deliver building materials to customer sites. The role requires safe loading, securing, and unloading of products, with attention to expenses and documentation.

Non-CDL drivers may operate vehicles in the 10,001–26,000 lb range. Applicants should be 21+ with a valid license, pass an MVR check, and be able to read and speak English; DOT medical clearance is required within five days of request.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and be 21+ with a valid driver’s license.
• Pass MVR report and obtain a DOT medical card within five days of request.
• Basic math and measurement skills; ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products inside the delivery vehicle.
• Deliver orders to customer sites and unload materials safely and accurately.
• Verify order details and maintain logs of deliveries (mileage, weights, locations).
• Serve as a customer service liaison and address customer concerns.
• Operate forklift or other material handling equipment as needed.
