Job summary

Scott Electric is seeking a Full-Time Non-CDL Delivery Driver in our Hagerstown, MD location. You will safely operate box trucks, load and unload materials, and deliver to various sites with a focus on timeliness and professionalism.

The role includes in-warehouse duties as needed and requires a clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT physical. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00AM–3:30PM with potential OT.

Qualifications

• Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving history (age 21).
• Minimum age 21 (insurance requirement).
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Must submit to a background check and drug testing.

Responsibilities

South Main Trucking, an affiliate of Scott Electric Company, has a current opening at our Hagerstown, MD branch for a Full-Time Non-CDL Delivery Driver. M-F hours 7:00AM to 3:30PM + OT.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate box trucks for deliveries
• Load and unload materials from trucks
• Deliver goods to various sites in a timely and professional manner
• Perform all essential warehouse duties, when needed

Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
• Prior experience in van/box truck operation
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of driving history (Age 21)
• Minimum age of 21 (insurance requirement)
• Pass a DOT physical
• Ability to unload the assigned truck at delivery sites

Preferred:

• Forklift operation experience
• Electrical product knowledge

Must submit to a background check and drug testing
