Job description

Silver Creek Supply, a proud partner of Heritage Landscape Supply, is seeking a safety-conscious, self-motivated team player to join us as a Local NON CDL Delivery Driver. Join a supportive work culture where you can thrive and make a difference!

As our Local Driver, your main responsibility will be to safely deliver products to customers' businesses or job sites within a maximum radius of your home branch. Enjoy the convenience of starting and ending your deliveries at the branch, with no overnight stays, and take advantage of overtime opportunities during busy seasons!

Essential Duties:

• Prioritize safety above all else
• Comply with all DOT regulations while operating a commercial vehicle
• Load, unload, and stage orders in a warehouse or at job sites
• Deliver to customer sites and branch locations, unloading products as needed
• Understand and adhere to FMCSA regulations
• Perform related duties such as stocking, order entry, shipping, and receiving
• Maintain delivery and vehicle records, including signed receipts, tracking info, driver logs, and truck performance forms
• Load and unload delivery vehicles
• Pick and stage orders
• Handle shipping and receiving tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License - Non CDL
• Safe driving record with no recent hit & runs or DWI/DUI convictions; recent accidents or violations will be reviewed
• Prior commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations are a plus
• Basic computer skills
• Forklift experience is helpful
• Experience with other trucks (e.g., Moffett) is a plus
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and DOT physical
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required
