Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a customer-focused NON CDL driver to operate a 26-foot box truck in the Grand Rapids, MI area starting at 4081 36th Street SE. You will collect sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations and deliver high-quality customer service daily.

The role offers autonomy, stable hours, and benefits. You will work full-time, typically around 40 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate of $23 and a $3k sign-on bonus paid in installments.

Qualifications

• Non CDL experience required.
• Delivery experience with manual handling is a plus.
• Willing to work full-time approx. 40 hours per week.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Passing 7 Year FADV review in Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Flexible, customer-focused attitude.
• Experience operating vehicles up to 26 ft box trucks.
• Experience with DOT compliance and logging hours.
• Proven longevity in past employment.
• On-time delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing medical waste containers.
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships.
• Operating vehicles safely (26- and 53-foot trucks).
• Completing deliveries on schedule and communicating changes clearly.
• Loading and unloading; organizing truck per schedule.
• Managing a route per leadership direction and delivering timely service.
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Heavy lifting.
