Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a Class A driver to operate a 26 ft box truck in Taylor, MI, collecting medical waste containers and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

This full-time role offers a schedule from 6 AM till finish, with a competitive set rate of $28 per hour, $29 if Hazmat Endorsed, plus a $3,000 sign-on bonus paid in installments. Benefits begin on day one and consistent hours are available.

Qualifications

• CDL A license required.
• Delivery experience with manual handling is advantageous.
• Willingness to work full-time hours (~40 hours/week).
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks.
• Able to pass Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse (7 Year FADV) review.

Responsibilities

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships.
• Operating vehicles in a safe manner.
• Completing deliveries to time schedule, and clearly communicating changes or challenges as they arise.
• Loading and unloading and organizing the truck per schedule and needs.
• Managing a route per leaderships direction and delivering timely, efficient and effective service.
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Consistently lifting up to 50 lbs, with occasional lifting of 50-75 lbs.
• Pushing or pulling 100-250 lbs, as applicable to the role.
