Daniels Health & Sharpsmart in Litchfield, IL is seeking a dependable driver to collect and transport medical waste and sharps containers along local healthcare routes. You will operate 26' box trucks, complete deliveries on schedule, and maintain DOT logs and inspections.

This full-time role offers daytime hours with a Mon-Fri 5AM–3PM shift, opportunities for overtime, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus for new hires. Strong customer service in healthcare facilities is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record and DOT medical card.
• Experience operating vehicles up to 26' box trucks.
• Familiarity with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
• Confidence completing Level 1-3 DOT road checks.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and proven tenure with past employers.
• Customer-focused mindset with a flexible, can-do attitude.
• Commitment to safe driving and on-time delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely collect, transport, and store medical waste and sharps containers.
• Operate company vehicles up to 26' box trucks.
• Manage assigned local routes and deliver timely, reliable service.
• Complete deliveries according to schedule and communicate route changes or issues.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain DOT compliance including logs and roadside inspections.
