Nocturnist opening in CT

Location: Meriden, CT (21 miles to Hartford)

Position: Full-Time Nocturnist

We are seeking a full-time Nocturnist to join our team as an admitting and cross-coverage physician. This position requires working 12 shifts per month with flexible scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide admissions and cross-coverage for two hospital units during night shifts.
2. Respond to rapid response teams and non-ICU codes as needed.
3. Collaborate with APRNs for patient transfers to the ICU if necessary.
4. Manage an average of 8 admissions per night with two physicians on duty.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Connecticut.
