Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA or APRN program.
• Current Connecticut licensure.
• Appropriate national certification.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate and manage lower-acuity Emergency Department patients.
• Provide overnight admission decisions and initial management for surgical patients.
• Coordinate with the on-call surgeon and Emergency Medicine physician.
• Perform minor procedures within scope of practice.
• Contribute to patient safety and throughput during overnight hours.
