Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Nocturnist Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join the Midstate Medical Center surgery team in Meriden, CT. The role includes first-assist in the operating room, rounding, bedside procedures, admissions, discharges and consults, with collaboration across several surgical services.

The position is full-time, nights, with potential flexible scheduling and no on-call requirement.

Formación

• Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible).
• Training: Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP certified).
• RNFA certification is required for Nurse Practitioners.
• Experience: at least 1+ year of experience in a surgery or related setting.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients.
• Develop plans for further evaluation in consultation with physicians and care team members.
• Provide appropriate treatment for problems within scope of practice and refer others as needed.
