Job summary

Brite is seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician to join our ITIL service desk team in Rochester, NY. You will manage multiple tickets, troubleshoot network and workstation issues, and ensure timely resolutions while maintaining SLA and accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in CS or MIS with at least two years in end-user support, relevant certifications preferred, and strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field with at least two years of end-user support experience.
• Certifications such as A+, Security+, Checkpoint CCSA, Network+ and MCSE preferred.
• Experience with cloud backup solutions, Datto is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage service tickets within SLA and field a high volume of calls.
• Troubleshoot basic computer and networking issues via phone and email.
• Document troubleshooting steps and customer interactions.
• Escalate issues to the appropriate next level.
• Perform on-site visits to troubleshoot workstations and printers.
• Maintain documentation database for consistent customer interactions.
• Analyze software/hardware systemic issues.
• Run diagnostics and evaluate results to resolve issues.
