Job summary

The Springs Living, LLC is seeking an experienced Medication Technician (Med Tech) at The Springs at Sunnyside to support residents with safe medication administration, vital signs, and coordinated care. You will work closely with nurses and the healthcare team to ensure high standards of service and resident wellbeing.

Ideal candidates bring 18+ years of age, CPR/First Aid certification, and experience in senior living or healthcare; proficiency with eMAR is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience as Med Tech, Medication Aide, Caregiver or in senior living preferred.
• Experience with eMAR is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• CPR and First Aid certification current or ability to obtain after hire.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor residents and report changes in condition.
• Document medication administration using eMAR systems.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Perform delegated tasks such as blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration as assigned.
• Communicate with nurses, physicians, pharmacies, and team members.
• Respond to resident needs and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records and medication storage procedures.
• Support caregivers and contribute to a positive team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
