Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Morris Plains, NJ is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity.

You will follow the Six Rights, document in MAR/TAR in real time, observe residents during passes, monitor symptoms, and report concerns promptly. The role emphasizes infection control and safety standards to protect resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+.
• Medication Administration certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.

Position: Medication Aide/Med Tech

You play a critical role in preventing medication errors, identifying health changes early, and protecting resident safety through attention to detail and regulatory compliance.

What We’re Looking For

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: 18.35 - 23.00
