Job summary

PACS is seeking a skilled LPN/LVN supervisor to oversee nursing staff in a long-term care setting. The role focuses on directing nursing assistants, ensuring policy compliance, maintaining documentation, and coordinating care across departments.

You will report to the Nurse Supervisor and participate in quality assurance activities. The ideal candidate holds an active LPN/LVN license, CPR certification, and a nursing degree or equivalent training.

Qualifications

• Must possess Nursing Degree or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in the state.
• Must maintain CPR certification and continuing education.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing assistants in accordance with facility rules and guidelines.
• Ensure nursing personnel comply with written policies and procedures.
• Maintain and update the Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Complete incident reports and report shift activities to the Nurse Supervisor.
• Administer medications as ordered and verify resident identity.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate resident care.
