Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector has an opening for a NOC Specialist (Satellite) to support the Federal Government in providing O&M and PM services from the Mount Weather Emergency Operations Center. The role may require occasional telework from a home location and weekend/on-call coverage.

Responsibilities include monitoring, troubleshooting, configuring and managing the DHS/FEMA satellite network, generating bandwidth and traffic reports, and supporting a satellite hub with iDirect knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience with satellite networks, preferably iDirect satellite solutions.
• Ability to monitor, administer and report on satellite systems.
• Willingness to obtain Government clearance (TS/Public Trust).

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, configure and manage the DHS FEMA voice, data and satellite network.
• Provide monitoring and reporting support to a satellite hub station.
• Operate Earth Station equipment, remote access servers and perform software patches/updates.
• Support Tier 1 operations and be prepared for weekend/on-call coverage.
