Job summary

ThedaCare – Appleton, WI is seeking a Patient Care Tech to support nursing teams under supervision. This role provides patient-centered care, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring safety and comfort for patients during night shifts.

Under supervision, you will perform ECGs, phlebotomy, vital signs checks, and collaborate with the care team to achieve high-quality outcomes. Eligible for benefits with part-time status.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS or Wisconsin LPN licensure.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated patient care activities using evidence-based practice.
• Check patients' vital signs, height, and weight as needed.
• Provide compassionate care and respond to patient concerns.
• Escalate changes in patient status to the care team.
• Obtain and report patient intake/output; collect specimens as directed.
