Job summary

Viasat is seeking a senior leader for its Network Operations Center to guide a 24/7 team responsible for mission-critical network and cloud infrastructure. You will drive reliability, performance, and incident resolution while building scalable, future-ready operations.

You will recruit and mentor engineers, foster cross-functional collaboration, and lead initiatives that leverage AI and automation to enhance service quality and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading a network operations center or IT operations team.
• Proven ability to develop and implement operational processes and performance standards.
• Experience leading incident response during service-impacting events; coordination across teams.

• Lead and inspire a high-performing NOC team across operational shifts.
• Drive reliability and performance of mission-critical network and cloud infrastructure.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor technical staff; foster learning and growth.
• Champion incident response and change management; conduct root cause analyses.

• Partner with engineering, service providers, and vendors to exceed SLAs.
• Build and launch a next-generation operations center; define staffing and workflows.
