Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or in current program with completion date within 2 years.
• Current, valid and active RN license in the state of employment.
• Minimum one year of nursing management experience.
• Minimum three years of nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from The American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations for the assigned nursing unit and ensure delivery of efficient, high quality patient care.
• Provide direct care when needed plus delegation and supervision of all nursing care in line with the Nurse Practice Act.
• Work with staff and other managers to develop systems and procedures for daily operations and provide training and support to meet objectives.
