Qualifications

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in California.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Previous acute care experience strongly preferred; ability to uphold professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care for assigned patients and families.
• Works in a charge nurse capacity as assigned and supervises nursing staff.
• Identify learning needs and educate patients and families; communicate with diverse teams.
• Apply professional standards of practice and contribute to quality improvement.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to support patient-centered care.
