Job summary

CACI is seeking a Network Operations Technician Journeyman to support Air Force network modernization across CONUS. You will operate in a NOC, handling triage, root-cause analyses, and configuration across routers, switches, servers, and security systems while applying IAVA patches and maintaining system documentation.

The role emphasizes security, patching, and network performance monitoring, with expectations for independent work and strong troubleshooting in complex environments.

Qualifications

• Technical BA/BS required
• Five (5) years of related work experience with a Bachelor's degree or high school diploma/Associate degree with 7+ years in a Network Operations Technician role
• Secret Clearance required

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage network incidents in a NOC environment
• Apply security patches and OS upgrades to maintain security and integrity
• Perform router/switch/server configuration and validation
• Maintain configuration records and support network refresh projects
• Develop and follow SOPs for incident resolution and ticketing
• Provide training on network operations TTPs and SOPs
• Support DoD/network modernization initiatives across CONUS sites
• Collaborate with engineering on new implementations and technical refreshes
