Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) required prior to start.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 shift environment.
• Knowledge of Transport and IP network topologies.
• Active DoD Top Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Execute network operations including configuration and analysis of circuits across routers and switches.
• Perform real-time circuit redesign to restore connectivity during outages.
• Coordinate with customers and government agencies to maximize network availability.
• Monitor network alarms using platform management tools.
• Manage changes including hardware replacements and software configurations.
• Document outages, degradations, and resolutions through incident lifecycles.
• Assess network incidents and recommend resolutions across routers, switches, and MSPP.
