Job summary
DMI is seeking a NOC Analyst to join our Maryland team. You will monitor devices, platforms, and services within a network environment to ensure reliable, 24/7 operations and coordinate NOC shift coverage for efficient service delivery.
Education: an Associate's Degree or two years of college in CS/IS/Engineering, plus hands-on networking experience with SNMP/RMON, DNS, TCP/IP, and Cisco routing/switching. You will help document procedures and support network projects.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or 2 years of college in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
- Two years of computer-related experience accepted in lieu of education.
- Experience with SNMP and RMON based software; knowledge of Ethernet, FDDI, high-speed WANs and routers.
Responsibilities
- Monitor devices, platforms, and services in a network environment.
- Coordinate NOC shift coverage to ensure operations run efficiently.
- Provide leadership and training to NOC staff per documented policies.
- Maintain NOC process documentation and incident SLAs.
- Communicate service-impacting incidents clearly and timely.
- Assist with project work and network reconfiguration to boost performance.
