Job summary

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Tech-support 3 in Annapolis, MD to support the Tier 2 CAS Network Operations Center. You will help with incident management, diagnose failures, and resolve basic technical queries within the CAS environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring networks, tracking incidents, coordinating with telecom providers, and escalating to senior staff as needed in a 24x7 operation. US citizenship and CCNA/Security+ or equivalent preferred, with AA/AS or HS diploma plus

Qualifications

AA/AS degree or equivalent with minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
HS Diploma/GED with 2 years of relevant experience.
U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
CCNA or Security+ certification or equivalent or pursuing courses.

Responsibilities

Monitor network management system and coordinate with providers to restore service.
Track incidents and keep data updated in the incident management tool.
Diagnose and resolve basic technical queries from customers and business units.
Oversee high availability IP networks and Air to Ground data links.
Escalate complex issues to senior team members and assist as needed.
Work in a 24x7 operation center with some weekend/holiday shifts.
