Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks an experienced NOC Specialist to monitor, troubleshoot, and manage voice, data, and satellite networks at the Mount Weather center, with possible work at a backup site in Winchester and occasional telework. The role emphasizes Tier 2 support and hardware/software deployment for critical networks.

The position requires 5+ years of related experience, Cisco certifications, and U.S. citizenship, with shift work including overtime and some weekend duties every 8–9 weeks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related professional experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Relevant Cisco certifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, configure, and manage voice, data, and satellite networks.
• Provide Tier 2 expert assistance for operating and managing the transport network.
• Plan, evaluate, and configure routers, bridges, and other network devices.
• Manage systems for satellite tracking and provide digital data services to mobile units.
• Support new hardware and software acquisition and installation.
• Ensure WAN services at fixed and disaster sites are operational and assist in resolving interface issues.
• Perform shift work, overtime, and weekend tours as required, approximately every 8-9 weeks.
