Job summary

Boldyn Networks US Operations LLC in Las Vegas, NV seeks a NOC Engineer II for overnight coverage. You will monitor client infrastructure, troubleshoot outages, and maintain documentation in a fast-paced team environment.

The role requires CCNA or higher, Bachelor’s degree, and strong TCP/IP, BGP, and LAN/WAN knowledge. U.S. Person status is required for ITAR compliance; on-call rotation included.

  • Monitor client infrastructure daily.
  • Investigate and resolve outages (Layers 1–3).
  • Configure basic LAN components (routers, firewalls) and MS operating systems.
  • Maintain end‑to‑end network documentation.
  • Participate in an on‑call rotation with other NOC engineers.
  • Act as liaison between engineering group and client staff—technical and non‑technical.

Monitoring client infrastructure daily. NOC Engineer II - Overnight Las Vegas, NV

Job Summary

Passionate about network infrastructure? This role ensures the networks we manage exceed client expectations. The position is a Panama shift working 6pm PT‑7am PT in Las Vegas, NV.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor client infrastructure daily
  • Investigate and resolve simple to complex network outages (layers1‑3) and service interruptions
  • Apply established policies and procedures to provide timely and accurate ticket updates
  • Utilize network monitoring tools and ticket tracking systems to diagnose, record, and resolve network issues
  • Configure basic LAN components (routers, firewalls) and Microsoft operating systems
  • Maintain end‑to‑end network documentation
  • Participate in an on‑call rotation with other NOC engineers
  • Act as liaison between engineering group and client staff—both technical and non‑technical personnel
  • Work within a team setting
Desired Skills & Qualifications
  • Understanding of NOC escalation, incident management, and change management processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of large enterprise and campus LANs, Wi‑Fi/WLANs, TCP/IP, IP addressing, telnet, SSH
  • Experience supporting a BGP environment and other routing protocols (Static, EIGRP, OSPF)
  • Experience supporting Radius, DHCP, and DNS servers
  • Experience with Large‑Scale NAT or Carrier‑Grade NAT appliances and load balancers
  • Strong customer‑facing skills and business etiquette
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet fast‑paced milestones and deliverables
  • U.S. Person status required for ITAR compliance (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, asylum or refugee status, protected individuals under U.S. law)
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, or related field
  • CCNA certification or better
  • Wireless certification (CWNA/CWNP, Cisco, or Aruba)
