NOC Engineer – Cloud & Networking Support

Job summary

Logicworks, a cloud computing and managed hosting firm in New York, seeks a Network Operations Center Engineer to monitor infrastructure, assist customers, and coordinate with Level 3 teams. The role interfaces with customers and internal engineers to resolve technical issues in line with SOP.

You will provide 1st/2nd line support, support DNS/Exchange, and contribute to documentation while participating in on-call rotations for 24x7 coverage.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years of related technical support experience.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, MCP/MCSA/MCSE, LCP/RHCE are assets.
• Training/experience with Windows Server, IIS/SQL, MySQL, Linux, Cisco IOS, AWS are strong assets.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all Logicworks and customer systems for connectivity and running services.
• Handle calls in the NOC queue and monitor support email inbox.
• Provide 1st & 2nd level support and escalate to Level 3 as needed.
• Support network-related services (DNS, Exchange) and related server configurations.
• Collaborate with Level 3 engineers for installations and configurations.
• Develop and maintain support documentation and knowledgebase articles.
• Configure services on client servers (Apache/IIS, mail, perl modules).
• Troubleshoot issues with T1 lines and coordinate with vendors.
