Job summary

Vi at La Jolla Village in San Diego, CA is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time night shift (11pm–7am). You will assist licensed staff, support residents with daily living activities, and participate in quality improvement efforts.

Required: current state CNA certification, CPR/AED, First Aid; geriatric experience preferred; high school diploma or GED preferred; basic computer skills. We offer competitive pay, excellent benefits, and a supportive, luxurious work environment.

Qualifications

• Current state CNA certification required.
• Experience with geriatric clients preferred.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• First Aid certification required or willing to obtain.
• Food handler certification; CMA certification where required.
• Basic computer skills or ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed care staff in clinical/technical tasks for residents, including activities of daily living.
• Support light housekeeping, dining/tray services, and escort services.
• Take vital signs and weights; participate in quality assessment and performance improvement.
