Job summary

HumanGood is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant for the Health Center in La Jolla, CA. The PM shift runs 2:30p–10:30p on a 4/2 rotation, with pay range $22.00–$25.00 per hour. A CNA certificate with at least 1 year of CNA experience is required.

You will support residents with activities of daily living, promote person-directed care, and collaborate with the IDT to adjust care plans while ensuring safety and respect for each resident’s preferences.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certificate with at least 1 year experience as a CNA.

Responsibilities

• Engage in Person-Directed Care philosophy and assist residents to maximize independence.
• Provide effective and courteous service to residents, family members, guests, and team members; communicate clearly and handle conflicts appropriately.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including hygiene, grooming, and mobility; organize care and relay changes to the IDT.
• Identify residents' needs and preferences to encourage autonomy in decision-making; ensure supplies and equipment are available.
• Report unusual symptoms or problems to a supervisor promptly.
